The approach to the camp site is from Skálholtsbraut. The camp site is located next to the sports centre and the church.
The camp site has a service house with three toilets and facilities to wash dishes, as well as access to electricity. Next to the swimming pool there is a football field, playground and the sports area.
The area has decent facilities for disabled people with the area being flat and there is also a toilet for the disabled.
